Welcome to Kind Mind Psychology, where Jodie Marchant, a compassionate and dedicated registered psychologist leads the way in providing expert mental health care. Jodie is committed to helping people navigate life’s challenges with understanding and empathy.

She has a warm, compassionate, client-centred approach and is highly experienced with using evidence-based interventions. Jodie thrives on helping individuals overcome difficulties and heal from their past traumas enabling them to reach their full potential.

Her love of helping people everywhere was the driving force to create Kind Mind Psychology and to offer 100% Online Therapy. Jodie’s dream is to grow her team to be able to help more people to improve their mental health.

Jodie has completed training in many treatment approaches and believes it is vital to continuously keep learning and developing her skills in these areas. Her love of all things psychology means she can usually be found reading books or psychology journals, listening to wellbeing podcasts, or attending psychology conferences and training workshops to keep her practice up to date.

Jodie enjoys working with all clients and their presenting issues, she believes in creating a non-judgemental and supportive space for her clients to explore their inner worlds.

  • She has a particular interest and has vast experience working with new parents who are navigating through this important life transition. Jodie is passionate about helping parents improve their mental health to help them provide a secure attachment base for their children.

  • Individual Therapy: Jodie specialises in providing a thorough clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention approaches that are tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Jodie provides a safe and confidential space that promotes self-exploration and healing from traumatic events, anxiety, addiction, depression, or stress. 

  • Couples Therapy: Jodie has an interest in helping couples strengthen their relationships and is trained in Gottman Therapy, a couple’s counselling approach that includes a thorough assessment of the couple’s relationship, and integrates research-based interventions based on the ‘Sound Relationship House’ Theory. The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to improve conflict communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding between couples.
